Customizing the way the system looks usually starts with the wallpapers and screensaver, or maybe even with the color scheme. However, it’s also possible to change the icons of various locations on the disk.
Web browser Icons is an image collection created specifically for replacing the default Internet browser icons. These are very easy to replace for any of the apps.
There are four different images in the collection, in shades of blue, white and black. The pack includes the images in two different formats, namely PNG and ICO. The icons have three different resolutions, namely 48x48, 64x64 and 128x128 pixels, while the PNG files have a resolution of 256x256 pixels.
In order to change any of the icons you must simply right-click on the app and access the Properties area. In the “Shortcut” tab, the “Change Icon” feature must be selected. All there is left to do is browsing to the location of the new icons and selecting the one you want.
Keep in mind that you need to have administrator clearance in order to do this.
All in all, Web Browser Icons is a nice tool that is sure to visually improve the way the screen looks. Less experienced individuals should find it easy to handle, thanks to the intuitive layout and its overall simplicity.
