The true strength of 12-Ants is that you get a plethora of customization options for you to experiment with. You can not only turn your ants red, blue, or any color you might think of, you can also make them move faster or slower, depending on your preferences.

You can also tamper with the transparency level and the size, as well as modify the movement pattern - they can either attack the mouse cursor or flee from it, or they can just stroll casually around your screen.
