Every keyboard is fitted with a print screen button that is pretty suggestive. However, it only moves it to clipboard by default, letting you decide where and how to use it. The interval is specified in time, with multiple values found in a list, ranging from every 5 seconds to every 24 hours. It would have been useful to be able to manually configure timing options. An upper progress slider gently fills up as time goes by, letting you know how much there’s left until the new shot is taken.

Sadly, the application is only capable of taking screenshots of the entire screen, with no possibility to pick a target window or fixed region. What you do get to select however, is the output image format, which can either be JPG or BMP, and a corresponding quality slider for JPG.

In case you’re using the application for monitoring purposes, there’s an option to make it run with Windows and start directly in the system tray, so it’s not easily detected. Capture methods only count as a couple, either saving the the picture to file, or both to file and clipboard.

Bottom line is that many activities imply taking a screenshot of your entire desktop, even if it’s just for pure entertainment. This can easily be done through Windows default features, and automated with Automatically Take Screenshots Software, but not quite as you’d expect, leaving a lot more to be desired overall.
