Longhorn SideBar adds a sidebar on the user's Windows Desktop providing Active Desktop features.
You'll see five components in SideBar. These are:
· About
· Date and Longhorn Clock
· Memo
· Slide Show
· Search with Google
· File Mirrors Search
· News Links
You can remove Longhorn SideBar by running this setup again and choose "Remove Longhorn SideBar" option in Longhorn SideBar options. Do not forget to make desktop changes after exit setup.
SETUP INSTRUCTION
1. If you disabled Active Desktop, it will reopen it automatically because it was required with SideBar
2. After installation has done, you have to make your Windows make desktop changes to apply SideBar. You can do it by change wallpaper, color scheme, visual style, re enable Longhorn SideBar in active desktop, lock/unlock or move taskbar, and logoff your user. Choose your own choice.
3. Setup will detect your resolution and set Longhorn SideBar size match with resolution. It supports only 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x1024
4. If you use resolution lower than 800x600, you'll see some parts of SideBar.
5. You have to set your Longhorn SideBar yourself if you are using higher resolution than 1280x1024
