This is a simple command line based Text-to-Speech (TTS) program
which takes text from the command prompt or batch file and speaks it
out loud.
Windows 95/98/NT machines will need to install the Microsoft
Text-to-Speech Engine (hidden/available on their site). Windows 2000/ME machines already have this installed.
Note that Microsoft's engine seems to be flakey and can't handle idle
priority programs using CPU! Amazing! What this means is that even short
text may be broken up and take significant time to complete. "Seti@Home"
is an example of such a program.
