Tidy Start Menu

Tidy Start Menu is a practical piece of software designed to help you organize your start menu applications, in order to customize your desktop and improve your navigation speed.

Once installed, the tool changes the traditional layout of the start menu. By accessing the right-click menu in the system tray area, you can manage groups; the first step is selecting the group type between 'System', 'Graphics', 'Office', 'Games' and 'Internet'.

In the following steps you can remove existing groups by simply deselecting them. Tidy Start Menu also comes with the options to add, remove and edit groups, but these features are unavailable in the free edition of the app, unfortunately.

From the 'Options' submenu in the context menu, you can scale the layout (increase, decrease, reset), switch to a different skin (black, blue, green, orange, from file) and disable virtual groups.

Tidy Start Menu supports multiple languages for the interface, is very responsive and requires a low amount of CPU and system memory. We have not come across any problems throughout our testing; the app didn't cause the operating system to freeze, crash or display error notifications.

Thanks to the intuitive layout and overall simplicity of the tool, first-time users can easily learn how to tinker with Tidy Start Menu. On the other hand, the free edition of the software application is severely limited.
