Tray Notes 1.0 (285)
Drag and drop content to the tray icon
The application features accessible, clear options and can assist you in organizing the data selections in an efficient and easy manner. One of its most important features is that it supports drag and dropping content to the tray icon. However, this function is not perfect, since it only pastes the path of a file (or the location of an image on the Internet, for instance), not its content.
Tray Notes enables you to create as many notes as you want, displaying all of them in separate tabs, within its main window. Notes can be saved to the hard disk as RTF documents and opened with any text editor for further processing.
Efficiently organize text and images
Right-clicking on the system tray icon reveals a menu where you can launch the main window or paste the content on your clipboard on one of the opened notes. The application can place the text or the image within the target document, also displaying a so-called pasting label, containing the creation date and time.
The straightforward look of the main window makes notes very easy to handle. You can customize its appearance via the 'Settings' window by increasing the size of the toolbar icons and changing the background color to make the text more readable.
Take notes for your research
Tray Notes is a tool that can assist you in managing and organizing different pieces of information much faster. It can manage all sorts of interim data, helping you place text and images in different notes. Some improvements could be made to enhance its value, but overall it is a useful application to anyone.
