The Matrix trilogy was a real phenomenon at the beginning of the 2000s and managed to cash in over 1.6 billion dollars in ticket sales worldwide. Fans of the movie have since developed a passion for the green cypher-code that appeared in the films created by the Wachowski brothers.
The Matrix ScreenSaver is a small tool created for Windows that replicates the aforementioned green code.
Unlike some other executable files, you can’t install this app by double-clicking the file. In order for the tool to appear in the screensaver list, you must right-click the icon and choose the “Install” option.
Accessing the Matrix ScreenSaver menu enables you to insert coded messages into the cypher lines. Furthermore, you can customize the font by choosing the name, size and emphasis, with the single option of having the text in bold letters.
The hidden messages are then decoded and appear in the center of the screen. The app also lets you adjust the decoding speed and the message display speed. Furthermore, the cypher density and color hue can be modified.
As with any other screensaver, you can adjust the number of minutes your computer needs to be idle before the app starts.
All in all, Matrix ScreenSaver is a great tool that can bring back memories of one of the most successful trilogies. The software is easy to install and customize, so all users should be able to quickly figure out all the app’s features.
