If you are bored of your desktop and your flat windows do not work for you anymore you may want to try something new. SphereXP is an interesting tool that will give a new face to your desktop.

SphereXP was designed to replace completely your desktop with a 3D one. Using this application, you will discover that all the desktop icons and the windows are displayed inside a sphere.

If you right click on the screen, you will be able to select to nicely arrange the open windows in a cascade or title mode. This tool also allows you to open an image on your 3D desktop.

One of the most interesting features turns out to be Rotate. It enables you to move inside the sphere. If you want to go closer to your windows or to your icons, you need to select the Move option.

To make this application more interesting, you can change the color of your selection, grid and map.
Also, you can easily change the max texture quality, the field of view and the update interval of this application.
