We’ve all seen Mac OS X and its eye-candy interface, and although Windows is a much more handsome product right now, it’s still far from what Apple has managed to do with its own operating system.

In case you’re still drooling when seeing that beautiful dock on Mac OS X, well drool no more because the same thing is possible on Windows too.

It’s called ObjectDock and it is a downloadable application that can be installed on every Windows machine out there, which means all of you can enjoy a Mac OS X-like dock on your computers.

ObjectDock can be downloaded and installed in less than a minute, but it’s the final result that counts this time.

Once you double click the executable file you will get a nice-looking dock that comes with the exact same icons as your Windows taskbar. Plus a little bonus, in the form of a weather widget and a clock.

The dock has the same magnification effect as on Mac OS X and for the sake of users, the developer has also included the possibility to add more so-called docklets.

ObjectDock might slow down a little bit the operating system on older machines, but during our testing everything worked pretty smooth.
