Windows 7 Dark Theme
When you work endless hours on the computer, a darker color scheme could be a welcomed addition to the screen, as it might help reduce the strain on your eyes. Windows 7 Dark Theme is a nice wallpaper pack that you should at least try.
The tool installs immediately and doesn’t require other input from the user after launching the executable file. All customization options are available through the Windows desktop background menu.
There are ten pictures in the collection, all in the high widescreen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. They have a darker color scheme, either straight-up black, or with dark blue and red. Also, they all have the same theme – they represent the Windows 7 operating system. Thus, somewhere in the design you can find either the Windows logo or the number seven.
Thanks to the large resolution, all the wallpapers should fit well on any screen, even if it’s bigger. Thus, even if the images have to stretch to a larger resolution, the process shouldn’t produce any pixelation.
If there are any images you don’t want to leave in the slideshow, they can be excluded by clearing the checkboxes next to them. Additionally, the time elapsed before the images change can be modified. Windows enables you to choose any of the time presets that vary from ten seconds to one day.
From the desktop background menu you can also adjust the picture positioning. You can choose to have the image stretch or fill to cover the entire screen. The Tile, Center and Fit options could leave borders around the photo if you use a larger resolution. Also, the images can appear in a random order if you choose to tick the checkbox next to “Shuffle”.
All in all, Windows 7 Dark Theme is a nice pack of wallpapers. Inexperienced users should have no problems during the installation process or in customizing this theme.
