PowerRenamer is an easy to use 2-in-1 tool that handles all of your image, MP3 and file renaming needs.

You can safely process multiple files, change filenames, replace text in the file name, change attributes and timestamps on your images, web pages etc. with just a few mouse clicks while the program's system file protection makes sure that you don't accidentally rename important system files.

PowerRenamer can also rename your MP3 files based on their ID3 tag information, or use the intelligent MP3 Tagger to quickly and easily add or edit the ID3 information in your MP3s.

Additional features include a built-in multimedia viewer, Undo operations, sequential file numbering, duplicate checking and much more.

· Allows easy bulk renaming of multiple files, with the ability to replace selected portions of text, insert text and remove text. The renaming engine supports standard wildcards such as * and ?, for more powerful renaming possibilities. The renaming engine also protects file extensions , so you can’t end up with bad file associations, and uses an intelligent system that provides total protection against possible filename clashes during the renaming process.
· The powerful MP3 renaming engine automatically scans the selected folder for MP3 files, corrects bad file extensions, and renames your MP3's using the naming format of your choice.
· System file protection automatically hides critical system files so they cannot be changed - an override is provided for advanced users who wich to disable this feature.
· The text case of file names can be selectively set to lower-case, upper-case, capatilize first word, or capatilize all words.
· Sequential file numbers can be added to the beginning or end of selected file names, with a user selectable start number and increment count, while also allowing the addition of leading zeros to preserve listing orders.
· File extensions can be selectively renamed, allowing bulk re-association of multiple files.
· Created, Modified and Accessed file time stamps can be set to any date and time for multiple files.
· File attributes such as read-only, archive, and hidden can be set for selected files as desired.
· Auto Preview shows you the result of your changes in real-time, before any changes to files are committed.
· The integrated multimedia previewer allows you to preview more than 45 different types of image, music and video files so you can be sure you are editing the correct files.
· Duplicate Check automatically checks for duplicate file names and highlights any duplicate names found.
· The intelligent file selection system allows the user to select files individually, automatically select specified file types by extension, or select all the files in a folder in just a single click.
· Complete Undo - all tweaking operations can be un-done (including file name changes, atrribute changes and timestamp changes) should you need to do so.
