iRepo is an intuitive application with an uncomplicated interface that allows users to transfer songs from an iPod/iPhone device to the computer easily.
The main application window is not visually appealing but fairly simple to work with. Provided that the iPhone is already plugged into the computer, you can filter songs by playlist and select the ones you want to copy.
In the bottom part of the screen you can view the song names, artists, albums, genres, rating and play count. iRepo provides select-all, deselect-all, select-highlighted and deselect-highlighted buttons, in order to speed up the song selection process.
In addition, you can ask the app to display only songs that are not already uploaded in the iTunes library, as well as copy entire playlists. Songs are automatically delivered to the iTunes library, so you cannot specify a custom location on the hard drive.
iRepo has a good response time and carries out a task rapidly while using low CPU and RAM, so it doesn't affect the overall performance of the computer or interfere with the runtime of other apps.
We have not come across any issues in our testing, since the program did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, iRepo can be handled even by first-time users.
