Juice

Juice is a simple and easy to use software utility designed to help you listen to the Internet audio shows of your choice, whenever you have the time.

The main purpose of this application is to help you better manage your favorite podcasts in order to prevent you from missing an episode. Even if you cannot always verify the status of each podcast you subscribe to, Juice offers you the possibility of scheduling a check at specific times – if you know the air-time of a particular show - or at regular intervals, if the podcaster is not always that punctual. This way, you can be up-to-date with any new upload, even if you are not on the lookout when it first becomes available.

The program is quite easy to understand, you simply type in the URL address of the podcast you want to subscribe to and Juice will download the found episodes from the Internet to the output folder you prefer. You can then listen to the files from your computer, using several media players or you can even transfer them to an MP3 playing device and listen to them on your way to work or when you take a walk.

Juice provides you with a series of existing podcast feeds that you can download - the "Podcast Directory" tab - and you have many options, such as sports or music programs, to choose from and enjoy.

Of course, you might worry that after a while your computer could become cluttered with old downloaded podcasts. Fortunately, Juice can delete episodes that are older than two weeks, allowing you to keep your computer as clean as possible.

Juice is an intuitive and efficient application that can prove quite useful in keeping you updated with the latest news and events, being especially handy for those with a busy schedule that are prone to forgetting about their little pleasures.
