Fastest Web Browser
Fastest Web Browser is a lightweight Windows web browser designed with simplicity in mind. It is based on Internet Explorer and is customized to load webpages quickly.
You can keep the program stored on USB flash drives or other portable devices and carry it with you. It can be run without administrative privileges on a target computer.
You do not have to go through an installation process, as you may simply run the executable file. Uninstalling the tool can be done with a simple deletion task because it does not leave entries in the Windows registry.
The web browser reveals a clean and intuitive layout that embeds basic playback controls. You are allowed to go to the next or previous webpage, refresh the information, and jump to the homepage.
Fastest Web Browser sports a multi-tabbed environment which allows you to keep different tabs opened in the main panel. What’s more, you can quickly close them.
The application is supposed to load pages faster than Internet Explorer. We have tested it on Windows 8.1 Pro and noticed that it is not quite speedy when it comes to accessing webpages. We also come across bugs, as the ‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ buttons disappear from the GUI when you navigate on the Internet. It eats up a moderate up to high amount of system resources.
No support for advanced features
Fastest Web Browser has limited browsing capabilities. There are some other web browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox and Opera, that have to offer a lot more in terms of functionality. The tool does not let you keep a history with all accessed websites, clear browsing history and cookies, save favorite webpages, work with a download manager, install extensions, and navigate on the Internet using a private browsing mode, just to highlight some advanced features.
All things considered, Fastest Web Browser does not bring anything new to the web browsing category. It actually needs enhancements so you can rely on it for browsing sessions.
