What's New in This Release:
· The JavaScript language is now supported. JavaScript adds interactive capabilities to web pages, which may interact with forms, buttons, applets, or active images. HotJava Browser 3.0 aims to be compatible with the Netscape Navigator 3.0 object model and the ECMAScript 1.4 language specification.
· The user interface and graphics have been significantly redesigned.
· Hundreds of bugs have been fixed.
· HTML rendering is much more flexible. Pages display more closely to the way they are displayed in other popular browsers.
· The Show HTML Errors option from 1.x releases is no longer available. Since HotJava Browser 3.0 is much more forgiving of pages that do not strictly conform to the HTML standard specifications, the concept of HTML errors in HotJava Browser has lost much of its meaning.... [
