Net Search Web Browser
Net Search Web Browser is, as you may have guessed from the name, a web browser. This means you can easily surf the Internet with this software tool, as well as add sites to favorites and open several windows and tabs in the same time.
Clean interface fitted with site shortcuts
The installation process does not bring any kind of unpleasant surprises and it is over in a few seconds, while the interface is simple and intuitive. It is comprised of menu, address and search bars and a few buttons. It becomes quite clear that anybody can find their way around it, regardless of their experience level.
The main window contains shortcuts to a few of the most popular websites, namely Bing, Twitter, Facebook, Google, Wikipedia, EBay and the list goes on, yet you should know they cannot be removed or changed.
Save web pages, manage favorites and use parental control
While it is possible to launch multiple windows and tabs in the same session, you can also save web pages to the hard drive, in HTML, MHT and TXT files, and view page properties such as protocol, connection, type, address and zone.
A search function can be used, you can view page source, zoom in and out of the picture, view history, refresh or stop loading a website. Favorites can be added and managed, the home page can be changed at any point and you can block particular sites, by using the parental control function built-in.
The computer’s performance is not hampered, as the resource requirements are minimal to moderate, the interface is accessible to all user categories. However, during our tests, sites were loaded quite slowly and some pages were not displayed at all.
All in all, Net Search Web Browser proves to be a pretty decent piece of software, yet it could definitely benefit from more work.
