WinWAP

WinWAP is an easy to use application designed to help you use WAP services on your personal computer. Using this application, you can bring the mobile Internet browser on your PC.

This application works just like a regular mobile web browser, allowing you to access all types of information on the WAP portal: chat, news, entertainment and so on. By using WinWAP, you have access to the mobile services not only from your phone, but also from your PC.

The application provides you with a tab-based interface, which makes it suitable for both beginner and advanced users. You can access multiple sections, including 'MSN' or 'Yahoo'. In the 'Chat' section you have to set your account detailed information, whereas the 'Entertainment' section allows you to read the daily random joke.

WinWAP is a highly-customizable application, as it enables you change its appearance according to your preferences. You can select the background image and its layout, the font and colors, as well as the navigation toolbar dimensions. You can set different sounds for when the program starts, hovering the mouse over a link or clicking a button.

In addition to this, you are able to set the connection mode (HTTP or gateway) and the encoding method.

Just like in a normal Web browser, this application enables you to manage bookmarks, thus you can easily navigate through pages that you like. Moreover, you can create a bookmark file and export it to another application. Also, the program features a history manager, stores the cache and allows you to set the desired home page.
