Enterprise Express Messenger description |
|
|
Enterprise instant messaging software for point-to-point communication.
Enterprise Express Messenger is a messaging software allowing you to communicate instantaneously with any EEM users inside your intranet. EEM works on a point-to-point communication mechanism making it working without any server. That way messages and files are transferred from your PC to the recipient's PC directly. Your messages won't "sleep" on intermediary server while the recipient has not verified for any pending messages.
EEM is at the same time a message server and a client. Based on this design model, messages and files are directly exchanged between users. This architecture avoids to centralize all messages/files exchanges on a single server thus unloading your actual emailing infrastructure.
EEM is easily configurable and does not require any server. Working on its own messaging protocol, EEM cannot be infected directly by email viruses and is also spamming free.
Here are some key features of "Enterprise Express Messenger":
· Unloads your current emailing infrastructure · Easily configurable · Does not need any server1 · Protects your network from viruses, worms or other malicious and damaging software · Provides purely internal communications. Messages and files are not sent outside your network to be redirected to the recipient's PC. · Offers ways to automatically find users on your network (including when using dynamic IP allocation) · Allows multiple users on a single PC. Each one with their own user ID and password. You can create by instance a specific user called "Timesheet" to receive your colleague presence sheet. Just log in to see and manage them later. · Provides a list of "instant messages" (which are commonly used messages) that can be personalized. So you don't have to type them every time. · Exchanged messages and files are by default fully encrypted · An auto-reply mode informs automatically your sender about when you'll be back or what they should do while your are unavailable
