An IRC (Internet Relay Chat) application for Windows
Klient is an useful IRC (Internet Relay Chat) utility for Windows.
Klient features a modern customizable interface, multiple server support, highly robust scripting, external .dll support, and much more! Here are some key features of "Klient":
Flexible Interface:
· Klient's interface can be tailored to your liking with features such as fully customizeable toolbars, various window "styles", and advanced display settings.
· Klient is also fully Windows XP theme compatible.
Multiple Servers:
· Klient can connect to as many servers as you want at the same time. They can be from the same or different networks.
Powerful Scripting Capabilities:
· Klient offers two ways to add scripts. You can create scripts with Klient's built-in script editor in any language that supports Active Scripting, including VBScript, JScript, Perl, and Python. Klient adds 70 objects to its script interpretor to extend the script languages and allow script code to talk to Klient.
· For the ultimate in speed and flexibility, Klient can also run scripts contained in external DLL files. In addition to functionality, DLL scripts can add custom forms to Klient that appear to be part of the program. Because compiled executable code is so much faster than any runtime interpreted language, DLL scripts can run millions of times faster than their interpreted script counterparts!
Requirements:
· For Windows Vista, if UAC is enabled, the first time you run Klient you must run it as Administrator.
· For Windows 95, 98, 98SE, ME, NT4, and 2000, you must have Internet Explorer 5.0 or later installed

· In the Display Options, you can now use JPEG images for the backgrounds of IRC windows and for the main screen's client area in addition to bitmap images.
· In the Text Display Advanced Options, the threshold for removing colors now applies to both fonts and colors.
· Fixed the Links form saving it's list view information in the registry under HKCU instead of Klient's key.
· Set FPU status to $127F when calling events and aliases from DLL Plug-Ins per Quension's request. Klient's preferred FPU settings will be reset when the function(s) return.
· Fixed Scripts.ScriptObjectCount and Scripts.ScriptObject not working unless the script editor has been opened.
· Fixed IPList showing as an object in Scripts.ScriptObject.
· Fixed Python scripts having problems when edited with the script editor's options set to use the tab character for indents instead of spaces.
· Fixed an error importing script language defintion files made by Klient 2.1.x.
