Internal Chat Client is a software program which was built in Java to let people keep in touch with friends and family members by connecting to a custom server.

You are not required to go through the installation process, as this product is portable. This also means that the Windows registry and Start menu/screen are not going to be updated with new entries, and no leftovers will remain on the hard drive after its removal.

You should also know that if you place the program files to an external storage device, you make it possible to run Internal Chat Client on the fly, on any computer you come in contact with.

The interface you are met with presents a minimal and clean design, as it does not include many buttons and panes. Although no Help contents are provided by the developers, it becomes pretty obvious that all user categories can learn how to handle it without encountering any issues.

This utility enables you to keep in touch with people by simply connecting to the same server. In order to establish this connection, you are required to input information such as name, host, port, username and password, while optionally you can use a proxy.

Last but not least, a search function is incorporated, you can see a list of all the people connected to the same server as you, while it is possible to hide offline, when you are not in the mood to talk to everyone.

The amount of resources necessary is low at all times and therefore, the system’s performance is not going to be affected in any way. The response time is good, the interface is suitable to everybody and no errors, freezes or bugs have popped up in our tests.

Taking all of this into consideration, we can safely say Internal Chat Client is a pretty decent piece of software, for those interested in using a simple instant messaging client.
