Underground IM is a practical application that allows you to host a instant messaging server on your computer. The application uses the client / server architecture which allows you to communicate with other users by exchanging instant text messages.
In order to use the application you need to set up the server and the user database on a central computer. The other users can login by providing the credentials stored in the database.
