There was a time when the Internet was accessible to only a handful of people, so without instant messengers and stuff like that people relied on simple chatting applications that could work within their networks.
BORGChat was one of the most popular names in the era, as it helped network users talk to each other in a very fast and pleasant way.
Basically, BORGChat is a chat application designed specifically for large networks, but it could do a lot more.
For example, it supports file transfers, private chat, group chat, message boards, online alerts and many other great things that nowadays are part of much more complex online instant messengers.
Of course, BORGChat had tons of settings which allowed users customize everything from the way the app looked to sounds, channels and online alerts. And it’s probably less shocking that it worked on every Windows version out there, and it still does, as our test demonstrated that it perfectly runs on Windows 7 with no compatibility issue.
Just as expected, the program was incredibly friendly with computer resources and although at that time some users had problems due to some network conflicts, it was still one of the main tools to be used within large networks.
The fact that is free recommends it as one of the top picks so in case you’re still looking for a fast way to talk to your network members, BORGChat could very well serve as the right tool to help you in this regard.
