QuickMessenger v description
QuickMessenger - An enhanced interface for Windows Messenger (IM) that allow you to send text messages on the LAN.

QuickMessenger is an application created to send and receive messages from one PC to another one or a group of computers via the local area network (LAN) under Windows NT/2000/XP.


It uses the "NET SEND" command of Windows, you can thus send messages to anyone, even if it does not have QuickMessenger.

QuickMessenger can "capture" the incoming messages and you can reply simply and easily.

What's New in This Release:

· Ping the workstation before the "NET SEND" command to accelerate the processing if the workstation is not found or off (Added the preference "Timeout (ms)" in the Message Tab)
· Window Send message to a group (show the status of each workstation when you send a message to a group)
· Window Users (Add/Modify/Delete, Search and Import)
· Window Groups (Add/Modify/Delete and Import)
· Window Predefined Messages (Add/Modify/Delete)
· Send to multiple users by separating the workstation names with a comma (Main Window)
· Incremental search in the Users or Groups List (Main Window)
· Show incoming messages in a window (like 2.4 and prior version) or in a balloon tip (System Tray)
· Preference "Maximum number of messages in history" to limit the history
· Users, Groups and Predefined messages are now in a file (QuickMessenger.qm), instead of the registry
· When you reply to someone, the included message will be at the end instead of the beginning
· Improved User Interface
· Fixed some bugs
