The simple yet eye-candy interface is mostly focused on the information provided by the user, which in all cases represents the ID of the contact he/she wants to check.

Simply write down the ID and hit the “Go” button. Yahoo Invisible Detector automatically checks the status, but also allows you to send a private message to the mentioned ID, view the Yahoo profile, call it on Yahoo Messenger or add it to your friends list.

The application also retrieves the contact’s avatar and even allows you to save it to your local disks.

What’s more, there’s a special tool aimed at users of older Yahoo Messenger versions too. The new emoticon screen provides access to the latest emoticons introduced by Yahoo, allowing you to quickly select and send a smiley in an ongoing conversation.

Yahoo Invisible Detector isn’t 100 percent efficient, because sometimes it fails to detect the right status of the provided contacts. Instead, it works smoothly and doesn’t ask for a separate Yahoo account to check your contact’s availability.

All things considered, Yahoo Invisible Detector can prove to be quite a helpful product, although everybody wants a perfectly developed status checking engine. It has some extra tools too, so it really deserves a try.
