Do you have a modem? Have you ever happened to forgotten about being in the process of downloading a file and started another task or turned off the computer? Are popular download managers too complicated for you? If so, this program is for you!
Download Controller is a simply to use application which monitors download and executes selected actions upon completion. Program can practically cooperate with any Internet program (e.g. web browser or e-mail program), by controlling status of the completion of the download, and upon the completion, executing requested actions.
For now there are four available actions: disconnect an active connection, shut down a computer, play a music file (*.wav) and display a text message (options can be connected together). Right after start, program minimizes itself in the system tray
The unique feature of the Download Controller is ability to control the download of the files which standard download managers (e.g. Flash Get or Get Right) don't support. Mainly, files downloaded from so called virtual disks e.g. Yahoo e-disk, or processes initiated by special kind of scripts, like PHP/Java.
Download Controller can be integrated with the Microsoft Internet Explorer by adding an icon to the toolbar, as well as possibility of auto starting with the operating system.
