GetFlash is an easy to use application that lets you download Flash files with just a single click, straight from Internet Explorer and without the need for additional tools.
The program places a new entry in the Internet Explorer right click menu, so it allows you to save a Flash file from a given website in the same way you do with images.
It's enough to right click in the desired page, select the Flash content you want to download and hit the “Save” button. Additionally, you can choose one of the available folders to place your downloaded file, with three built-in options included in the package: “Games”, “Movies” and “MTV”.
GetFlash also offers a preview of the Flash file you wish to download, which makes the whole process even easier if you're trying to deal with a movie.
There's nothing too difficult about GetFlash and that's probably the reason why there's no help file. The interface is straightforward and clean, so it means novice users should encounter no problems when trying to use the program.
Unfortunately however, GetFlash only works with Internet Explorer, so in case you're a Mozilla Firefox fan, there's no way to make your browser get along with this app.
On the other hand, GetFlash is compatible with most Internet Explorer versions, be they newer or older.
The good thing about it is that everything's very easy to use and it takes just a few seconds to download a Flash file. The bad side is definitely the fact that it is not available for free and works only with Internet Explorer.
All in all, GetFlash is an interesting project, but nothing more. It runs on low computer resources, and integrates seamlessly into Internet Explorer.
