What's the use in having paid accounts on websites such as Rapidshare or Megaupload, if you have to spend a lot of time searching for one single file?
Fortunately, some dude has come up with a way that will save you all that trouble, by creating RapGet.
RapGet is tiny free download manager that you can use to get files (image, video, audio, documents, software etc) from a bunch of websides, including but not limited to Rapidshare.com, Megaupload.com, 4share.com, and Speedyshare.com.
This software uses a code recognition technique, so searching and downloading for files is done in less time that you usually spend when you use the traditional way: by looking.
The interface is pretty standard, and there's nothing that can be misunderstood here.
In Settings you can configure the waiting time (in minutes), number of errors before rotation, number of rotations before removal, as well as enable or disable downloaded or corrupted files from the list.
Simply select each server, input your login name and password, and that's it.
Files can be scheduled for downloads, and there are several languages you can choose from.
RapGet takes up a fair amount of CPU resources, and we haven't found any errors or bugs that are worth mentioning. The download speed is the same as in a torrent client.
Having these thoughts in mind, RapGet is your easiest solution for downloading files and folders from these tricky servers. What's not to like about it? It's free!
