ePrompter allows you to compose, forward and reply to the messages that have been retrieved for you.
ePrompter will work with Yahoo, Yahoo Beta, MSN, AOL, AIM, Gmail, Hotmail, POP3, Earthlink, Excite, Juno, Lycos, Mail.com, Mindspring, MyWay, Netscape, Rediffmail, SBC Yahoo, USA.net, Windows Live Mail, and hundreds of other email domains.
ePrompter features a primary message screen, a unique rotating tray icon and the choice of five screensavers that let you know at a glance the number of new messages in each account, which you can easily read in full, online or offline, with the click of an icon. You can even delete unwanted messages or messages that you have already read, the next time ePrompter checks your email.
And now ePrompter allows you to compose, forward and reply to the messages that have been retrieved by your ePrompter. Your forwards and replies will be sent back through the account that the messages were retrieved from. Your original messages can be sent through any account that you have working on your ePrompter. ePrompter also features an address book. But please understand that while ePrompter can now send messages, it is not meant to take the place of a full-featured email client - it's only a mini-email client.
Even if you are not normally a screensaver user, ePrompter screensavers are such a useful utility that you've got to give at least one of them a try - especially the active "Bounce" screensaver.
You also have the choice of autodial for automatic message retrieval, and two audio prompts that alert you to new messages.
Schedule
When your computer is online, ePrompter retrieves email at intervals determined by you, updating the ePrompter screens and icon accordingly. Additionally, you can manually update all of your email accounts or an individual account at any time.
When your computer is offline, ePrompter's autodial feature can automatically dial up an online connection to retrieve your email and update the notifications accordingly.
Notification
ePrompter's unique email notification screensaver, which you can optionally use, becomes visible when your computer is idle. When your computer is in active use, a rotating icon and an audio prompt will alert you when new messages are received. The ePrompter email notification screen can be accessed by clicking this icon.
