Advanced Attachments Processor (AAP) is an application designed to extract attachments from mail client message databases and to make an archive of the files extracted.
AAP is a very convenient and efficient solution for companies that receive messages with orders, forms, or updates sent as attachments. You can use AAP to create archive of attachments received with messages from certain individual and corporate clients, messages with specified subject or, received within certain time interval.
AAP is an universal tool able of processing great variety of file formats and mailboxes of most mail clients, including Outlook Express 5, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Exchange, Netscape Messenger, The Bat!, Netscape Mail, Mozilla Mail, Opera Mail, Qualcomm Eudora, IncrediMail Xe, etc.
AAP
provides for flexible selection of messages which attachments are to be extracted from. This is ensured by use of a set of conditions for data contained in the fields of messages being processed. Conditions may contain regular expressions.
AAP is efficient and reliable. With AAP you can considerably reduce time spent on processing of mail bases compared to manual or semi-automatic processing, and absolutely exclude errors.
AAP saves the information about attachments extracted into its own project, which makes further work with the files easier and faster. You can do all operations with attachment list using AAP capabilities, e.g. you can open attachments, delete them using mask, view attachment description.
AAP has a friendly graphic interface. Context help system and screen tips will help you to find answers to any questions you might have during operation.
AAP scans messages stored in specified folders, subfolders or mailbox files of the specified client or file format. Then it extract attachments from the messages and saves them in the specified folder on disc. AAP writes information about the extracted attachment in the list. Only messages that comply with user-defined set of conditions are processed. AAP can create a description file for each attachment extractedd. Information is stored in that file according to user-defined template.
You can store the list of attachments extracted as a result of scan in a text file, CSV file and export it to an MS Excel document. You can delete individual attachments from the list, if necessary.
