Howard is not Iron Man's father, or at least not in this case. It's an application and a useful one, to be honest, that can be set to alert the user when new messages reach several email clients without actually displaying the messages.

Just to be clear, this is not a mail-managing application. It's more of a custom notification application that can be set to work with a wide number of mail clients and services.

There is no reason to fear this program in terms of difficulty in usage. The idea is quite simple. The user has to choose from a plethora of mail services. You can work with Facebook, Yahoo, Outlook, Gmail, Twitter, LinkedIn and so on.

It's worth saying that IMAP options are a go and that not all services are mail-related per se, as can be deciphered from the partial list of compatible apps. In case you did not want to add your username and password for these programs, you're out of luck as this is the first thing required after choosing the service you like or need.

Aside from this aspect, the program is quite silent, unless you receive a message. It can even be set to remain silent for a certain period if you do not want to be distracted.

DO keep in mind that the app is not locked for use with one single account only. You can even have them all attached if you work with them.

Keep in mind this is not always an easy task. You might end up appreciating the help this program offers since you can customize its behavior and have messages reach you without notifications overlapping.

Howard can be something worth your time if you often find yourself working with email clients and having to check for messages you expect.
