LiSA description
LiSA is a small application which announces incoming email with a real human voice
LiSA is a small application which announces incoming email with a real human voice, specifying who the message is from - in relation to the receiver.
With LiSA you can stay informed without getting overwhelmed. Do you only want messages from business contacts announced? No problem. Maybe you are only interested in having messages from your lover announced. Can do
Here are some key features of "LiSA":
· Talks with a real human voice. No hard to understand computer synthesized voice.
· Tells you who the messages are from. LiSA allows you to indicate your relationship with the people
in your Address Book so she can say:
· Speaks as-&-when the messages arrive. Not just when you check your mail.
· You decide how often it's worth being told of new messages. You can set LiSA to announce every message as it arrives or only messages arriving from people who are listed in your Address Book and/or if it's a Reply, Urgent or Important.
· Highlights Replies: If the message is a reply to a message you sent, it will state so: "You have a reply from an important client."
· Highlights Urgent & Important Messages. You can choose to be alerted about messages with 'Urgent' or 'Important" in the Subject. LiSA will then say, for example: "You've got an urgent message from a client."
· Works with any standard email account. As long as your email system supports the Internet standard 'POP3' or IMAP protocols you're fine. Unfortunately Hotmail & AOL do not support POP3 or IMAP.
· Works with all email clients. LiSA works independently from your email application so which email application you use has not effect on LiSA.
