OLContactSync description
Synchronize your Outlook XP/ 2003 Contacts over E-Mail
OLContactSync - use your contacts with others together, your partners must not be in the same LAN with you.
This Add-In synchronizes your Outlook 2000-2003 Contacts over E-Mail. The only thing you need is Outlook 2000-2003, which can receive and send E-Mails. You can share every contact folder you want.
After the installation, you get a new property page into you Contacts on which you can choice the synchronisationpropertys.
Easy installation: The only thing you have to know, are the E-Mail addresses from your partners.
Known problems:
If you don't receive
synchronisations, than you must check your "Junk Mail" folder. It could be, that you have defined one rule which filters the synchronisationmails.
OLContactSync isn't running with other inbox-folders than standard-folder. But if you must use it, you have to define a rule, which moves the incoming synchronisationmails into standard-inbox. If you use in this case IMAP account, you mut live with the deleted mails, which are not realy deleted (only strikes out).
If the propertypage is not shown, maybe the AddIn is not activatad. Check it in Extras => Options => COMAddIns.
Outlook can deaktivate AddIns, which are not working correct. If this was happend, and the user has clickes, "Yes, deaktivate this AddIn", you can only activate it again, if you go to "Help => Info => deaktivated elements".
If you have not the same sharingname, it will also not work, the AddIn don't now in this case, where the synchronisationmail belongs.
If nothing of this tips helps, please check the programfolder if you find a file named error.log and send it to me, maybe i can help.
Requirements: Microsoft Outlook 2000/2/3
