Extends the functionality of the Router server task and allows storing all messages The Protea Mail Tools for Lotus Domino application extends the functionality of the Router server task and allows storing all messages passing through the server in a special database.
The default behaviour of the Router task is not to retain a copy of the message after processing it. After the message is successfully transmitted from one server to another, the former server deletes the message from the MAIL.BOX database. When the latter server successfully sends the message to the next server on the routing path, it also deletes the message from its MAIL.BOX database.
In order to comply with some laws or regulations, it may be required for your organization to save a copy of each message passing through your local mail system and permanently store and/or process the copies. Protea Mail Tools allows capturing a copy of each message processed by the Router of the Domino System. All messages can be captured for subsequent review and processing.
Protea Mail Tools for Lotus Domino does the following: · Saves all incoming and outgoing mail in the archive's database. · Saves original, unedited messages.

· Lotus Domino R6.0.1 for Windows or higher. · Pentium 133 or higher. · 64 MB RAM (recommended 128 MB).
