Yahoo! Mail Checker is yet another tool addressed to Yahoo users, this time aimed at those preferring the mail service, offering a very simple way to check an account for new messages automatically.

After installation comes to an end, the program prompts users to input the Yahoo ID and the password, giving them the option to also set up the interval for automatically checking the inbox.
There are dedicated tools to minimize the app to System Tray, start it with Windows and save the provided password.

We've noticed some compatibility issues on Windows 7 however, as the program refused to log in with the provided user name and password every once in a while.
All things considered, Yahoo! Mail Checker is a handy utility for most Yahoo Mail users that does exactly the same thing as Yahoo Messenger, but without the need for the popular instant messaging client.
