Cloud Explorer is designed to change the way you share files using well-known dedicated online services, such as Dropbox, Google Drive or SkyDrive. It does so by providing a platform that offers you one-click access to all the aforementioned online backup and sharing solutions, without having to install a separate desktop client for each.

Its ingenious approach makes it a reliable tool for those who are using online services to share and backup their files and folders, while the Explorer-like interface helps beginners get accustomed to using it right from the start.

The application prompts you to choose the service you want to connect to (as expected, the following step implies that you enter your login credentials) and launches a permission dialog that grants it the rights to access the data stored in the cloud system.

Once you do so, all the content stored in the cloud is displayed just like in Windows Explorer, with details about the name, creation date, file type and size. The tree-view location browser enables you to quickly jump from one directory / service to another.

Files can be downloaded to your computer, deleted or renamed. However, this is not the case with folders, which cannot be erased or renamed, but only created. Also, you can upload new content to the cloud, which makes it accessible from any device that can be used for connecting to your account.

The application does not perform file synchronizations, but only allows you to explore the online content. This saves you disk space that can be occupied by automatically synchronizing cloud and local directories.

Cloud Explorer is an alternative method to browse all the files stored in the cloud using Dropbox, Google Drive or SkyDrive. While you can do the same by connecting to your accounts using a Web browser or the dedicated desktop clients for each service, this application has the advantage of allowing you to explore all the directories from a single place.
