LDC++ is a file sharing client, so you can use to it to share files and folders with people from all around the world.

After a brief installation, you will probably notice that LDC++'s interface is not very different from others found in similar software. But it is completely customizable, so you can select whatever font, text style, text color and background color you want.

To get started, you have to write a nickname, e-mail address and description, as well as connection type (which is not automatically configured).

How does it work? You have to select which files and folders you want to share (keep in mind that hubs have the right to set the minimum quantity of information you must share), input one or several manual addresses, connect, and start searching. But you can configure public hubs list, and also add them to Favorites.

Honestly, we can't see any difference between LDC++ and other similar file sharing clients, except that it doesn't seem to crash that often, nor have so many glitches.

But the program's behavior when it comes to the searching tool is the same. For example, if you search for a particular file, then change your mind and search for something else, you have to wait several seconds until the new search is active.

Results are displayed pretty quickly, and the downloading time depends on your internet connection, but it's very good, in general.

Compared to other file sharing clients, LDC++ seems to use less CPU and memory, whether a downloading task is ongoing or not.
