A high-tech module for LimeWire that will accelerate your downloads

LimeWire Ultra Accelerator is a software solution aimed at LimeWire users who want to take the most out of their high-speed Internet connection, improving download speed and reliability of this particular file sharing application.
Although it's designed to be a very easy to use application, be careful when installing it! Not only that the program attempts to install a third-party toolbar on your system, but it also tries to change the default search engine and the homepage of your browser.
Last but not least, the installer automatically closes the web browser, so be sure to save your work before launching the setup.
Other than that, the application is quite user friendly, relying on a nifty interface with just a few buttons. You can't do many things in the main (and only) window, so you just have to pick the network interface to optimize and start or stop the acceleration.
At the bottom of the main window, LimeWire Ultra Accelerator shows a bunch of statistics, including status, sent and received bytes and duration.
The program automatically searches for more download sources and resumed paused downloads, trying to optimize configuration and thus enhance LimeWire download speeds.
Unfortunately, there is no help file in the package, so users may have a hard time when trying to get more information on the way the application works. Everything's pretty simple though, with a minimum footprint on computer resources.
Overall, LimeWire Ultra Accelerator is worth a shot, mostly because it attempts to boost download speeds without hampering computer performance. But a few improvements here and there are a must have, that's for sure.
