Feedly for Chrome 18.2
Organize and share your RSS news feed, view the latest articles, manage, organize and track your news without leaving your browser
It first needs to be mentioned that, when it comes to Google Chrome, extensions need to be dragged and dropped onto the Extensions tab to ensure successful installation. The Extensions tab can be found in the main browser menu, as a sub-section of the Tools section.
Depending on the content stored within their Feedly account, users can rely on Feedly for Chrome to explore their newsfeeds, preview articles and access the most interesting ones on their home website so as to read them in their entirety.
Not only can new RSS feeds be added, but they can also be organized in categories, so users can easily sort them and locate a certain article when needed. Each category title can be modified just as easily, no matter if it was created in the cloud or within Feedly for Chrome.
Furthermore, due to the Saved for Later function, users can easily mark some of the interesting stories they stumble upon and read them at a later time, when they have more spare time on their hands.
Another customization one could make to Feedly for Chrome is to change the way the articles are displayed - depending on their preferences, some users can select a more compact layout while others could prefer a more cluttered one, where more information is visible at a glance.
All in all, Feedly for Chrome can help users worldwide efficiently sort and manage their RSS feeds, without needing to install a standalone application on their PC.
