Google Search "View Image" Button for Chrome

Google Search "View Image" Button is a handy Chrome extension for all users that love downloading images off the Internet for either school, work or entertainment purposes. This web extension adds "View Image" button to Google Image Search results again. To avoid the possibility of copyright infringement, Google removed its browser's built-in "View Image" button, making it harder for anyone to view (and download) the source material.

WIthout the button, you would normally have to enter the website the image is hosted on, where you don't even have the guarantee if the image is in a downloadable format, or free.

A workaround was found in the form of this app that allows you to regain the "View Image" button when browsing using Google Images, giving you access to the image's original file hosted on the website's server.

This means that, as before, all you have to do is search for an image, access it, press the "View Image" button, and you are redirected to the image's URL without having to first pass through the website.

The app does a simple job and as such does not have any impact on the browser's overall performance.
