HTTPS Everywhere for Chrome is a useful extension designed to protect your browsing sessions by automatically enabling the secure connection. It allows you to always use the HTTP Secure protocol on the websites that have that option.
The extension runs in the background and automatically changes the connection type. The address bar button allows you to quickly disable the extension when the website is not properly displayed.
Note: In order to install the extension you need to drag and drop the downloaded file in the Extensions tab.
