Lock Tab is a Google Chrome extension that allows you to prevent a tab from being closed by displaying a warning message. The extension also changes the name of the tab to make it more visible.

The Chrome pinned tab can still be closed from a keyboard shortcut or the right mouse menu. The pages locked with this extension cannot be closed either from the keyboard shortcut nor the mouse click.
