Show Password 1.1

Firefox extension that allows users to instantly remove the asterisks field when writing passwords in dedicated box, thus revealing them
Show Password is an extension developed for older Firefox editions, which enables users to view the passwords they are typing in the dedicated fields.

This add-on comes in handy whenever you need to write overly-complicated passwords, such as the ones formed from numbers, lowercase and uppercase letters, and special symbols, since it reduces the risk of typing in a wrong character.

Once installed, you are required to restart the web browser, in order to apply the new settings. From this point on, Show Password becomes accessible in the status bar.

However, you can click its icon to easily enable or disable functionality. Thus, default settings are set (i.e. asterisk passwords) whenever someone is standing close to you, so they cannot view your passwords.

The extension does not cause the web browser to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation. Unfortunately, Show Password has not been updated for a pretty long time, and it is not compatible with newer Firefox editions.
