Developed for the Firefox and SeaMoneky platforms, ReloadEvery is a lightweight and simple-to-use add-on that, as its name implies, allows you to make web pages automatically refresh at a specific time interval.
It is easy to install and configure, even by users with no experience in this kind of software apps.
This type of tool can come in handy when you are constantly refreshing web pages to find out game scores or the latest news on a particular subject, for instance.
Once the installation procedure is complete, you need to restart the web browser in order to use ReloadEvery. By opening the context menu, it is possible to make a tab reload at a particular period of time, ranging from 5 seconds to 15 minutes; simply choose the frequency which suits you best, by picking a preset value from the right-click menu.
Otherwise, ReloadEvery allows you to establish a custom time frame, by specifying the number of minutes and seconds for the reloading time. Moreover, you can enable random mode. All tabs can be enabled or disabled, as an alternative to applying settings to each of them individually. What needs to be mentioned here is that the app's functions are automatically disabled when you are typing a URL.
The tiny application does not put a strain on the computer's resources, since it runs on a very low amount of CPU and system memory. We have not experienced any issues, as ReloadEvery did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs; ReloadEvery ran smoothly during our evaluation.
