SeekSpeak allows you to connect with other searchers! SeekSpeak lets you see what other people are searching for and lets you talk to them about their searches.
It's anonymous and requires no registration. Just install and start searching. You will see other peoples' searches and they'll see yours. (NOTE: you only see other SeekSpeak users' searches, and you do not see your own searches.)
How it works:
· Install SeekSpeak.
· A sidebar appears on the right of your browser window that shows other peoples' searches. (NOTE: you do not see your own searches. You only see other SeekSpeak users' searches. If you don't see any other searches, it's possible that no SeekSpeak users are currently online.)
· Start a conversation with someone by clicking on the search topic in the searches box.
or
· Do a normal search (only works with Google at the moment) via the Firefox search box or on the Google web site directly.
· Other SeekSpeak users will see your search and can contact you if they want.
· If someone wants to chat with you, you'll receive an invitation which you can accept or decline.
· If you accept, a chat area appears in the right-hand sidebar where you can talk with the other user.

· added alert feature that shows a small SeekSpeak icon if a related search occurs when the sidebar is closed
· mousing over the icon will show a list of the related searches
· clicking one of the searches will open the sidebar along with a chat window for the selected topic
· added SeekSpeak toolbar button to toggle sidebar on & off
· changed to use Firefox preferences instead of globalStorage since globalStorage is cleared when cookies are cleared
