Tab notifier for Firefox is a browser addon designed to display a desktop notification when the title of a tab changes while the tab is not focused.
Shows a desktop notification when the title of a tab changes (even when your browser is minimized), for instance when web-based emails, social networking or instant messaging sites notify new messages (e.g.: Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, Facebook, imo.im).
A desktop notification is an alert that appears outside the browser window, in a corner of your screen. Click on it to open the tab that triggered it. It works with tons of websites, also with microblogging sites and similar, like Twitter and Digg.
