Yahoo! Mail Notifier
Simple and useful, the Yahoo! Mail Notifier was created as a Firefox add-on that can display your email notifications straight into your web browser.
Yahoo! Mail Notifier was specially developed in order to save time. You do not have to check your Yahoo! Mail account periodically to see if new messages are in. As soon as you have new emails a notification dialog is be displayed.
However, you do have to setup your account. Once the add-on is installed and after the browser restart you are prompted with the login window.
The Yahoo! username is automatically saved, and the password can be remembered as well, so you don't have to type it every time. More than that, if you do not want to be redirected to the default Yahoo! Mail URL you can easily change the address. Please note that you can only login with one Yahoo! username at a time.
By default, new message notifications are only displayed in the statusbar of your browser(a letter icon is displayed). Fortunately, there are multiple options to choose from when it comes to the notification part. The program can also display a popup, alert or play a sound when a new message is received. The notifications can run once, repeatedly, or be completely deactivated.
The mail Inbox is checked by default every 5 minutes, but, you can input the exact number of minutes you want your extension to check for new messages.
In case you want to read your e-mails you can make use of the left and middle mouse button. You can set either one of the two buttons to check for new messages or open your Yahoo! Mail in the current tab, a new tab/window or in a new unfocused tab.
It is how very simple to access all your new mail messages directly from your browser with the help of this easy-to-use tool.
