    An extension that allows you to open selected feed items in Google Reader in new tabs, without changing focus to them

    Background Tabs for Google Reader is a simple yet useful add-on that will enable you to manage a great number of Google Reader news in an innovative way.

    The extension will open any selected item in a new, background tab while preserving the focus on the one that was active before you chose to open the news.

    Note: In order to install the extension you need to drag and drop the downloaded file on the browser window.
