Internet Radio Tuner description
Internet Radio Tuner - Choose from more than 1500 Internet radio stations, quickly find the stations from anywhere in the world
Internet Radio Tuner allows you to listen to hundreds of radio stations on the Internet and record them to MP3.
You can also record the line input of your sound card, by pressing the REC button.
Here are some key features of "Internet Radio Tuner":
· Lots of stations.
· New search options.
· Schedule automatic recordings.
You can schedule recordings using the new IRT Scheduler. It creates entries in the Windows Task Scheduler. To do this, go in the Library window, select a station and press the Record button in the toolbar.
· Customise your presets.
Click
on the preset button to play them, or right click to access a sub-menu.
· The new library dialog in version 2 allows you to do more than the old system.
You can select more than one station or station groups : click on a station, hold down the control key, and click on another. You can select stations, but also whole subgroups, like a country or a genre. In this example, I selected all the German stations and 2 French stations.
You can delete multiple stations, or make them favourites from the library page. But the most useful function is the Play button : you can select multiple stations and press Play. It will play the selected stations in a random cycle, and even remember the stations you selected next time you restart IRT.
For instance, you can select all the classical stations in the United States and play them randomly. This replaces the old "Select genres for shuffle" screen in the previous version of IRT (1.9).
You can also run multiple searches and select the results into one selection, for instance look for all spanish stations and all french classical music, select them and play them.
