TV is a software that you can use to play online radio and TV from across the world.
During installation, TV offers to download and install software or components (QuickStores toolbar), but the program does not need them in order to fully function.
TV takes several seconds to load, every time you initiate it. Don't be quick to exit just because there are a few ads welcoming you.
The tool's interface is standard, and you can select stations by genre or by region on the left side of the window.
Genres include music channels, news television, educational TV, sports channels, shopping TV, TV in English, Spanish, Deutsch, French, Portuguese or Arabic, while regions include North and South America, Europe, Asia or Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, Australia or Oceania.
In TV Toolbox you can perform a bandwidth test, view a world map, and others. There is also a user guide you can look into.
Not all the stations work, and some of them have a very bad image quality, or take a really long time to load. We have also noticed that TV usually loads stations in the web browser, and sometimes that does not work (either the connection is too slow, or the page cannot be found).
Every time you press the home button, TV opens a page in the web browser. The application also crashed a couple of times, while we were simply navigating through the stations.
CPU and system memory are highly required.
In conclusion, TV offers a few interesting channels to watch, but it definitely needs some improvements. At least it's free to use.
